French dining is expensive so you're lucky if it turns out to be good. Beaujolais is set in a residential/mixed used area, not too pretentious but definitely has that special atmosphere, and the food was good too.
Everything was great but it was loud. Hard floor, hard walls, hard ceiling so the noise just echoes. It’s a nice place and the food and wine were good but they really need to look at ways to absorb noise.
I've been twice now and had roughly the same experience both times. The atmosphere is charming and intimate although the split space of the restaurant seems like it leaves the servers harried and gives the impression they are barging into their own dining rooms. The service itself is attentive, polite, and professional enough. An incredibly tasteful experience, worth flying cross the Atlantic for. I’d recommend for anyone looking for the finer-class, well-developed city flavours that are hard to come by. Well priced for what you get, excellent wine
Have been visiting with work and personal for 2 years. Always was my go to. I took my daughter and her husband first time visit to Reno. I talked this experience up as it had been in the past. This was the worst experience we have had. We were the first table at 5pm. Slow service took 2 hours. All the steaks were over cooked. Drinks were slow and old fashions were not consistent. Waitress made excuses but we feel like this place has ran its course. Never will visit again. Royce burger has better food and is more consistent.
