This location is beautiful. They need to get a new wine buyer Oysters were fabulous. Salad poor. I got two slices es of reddish in a butter lettuce with overly sweet dressing for 28 dollars. Bad. Overall uneven restaurant.
When you think casual French cuisine, do you imagine a gorgeous venue, rude customers, indifferent staff, and subpar pastry burnt to a crisp? Call me provincial but I really enjoy my ingredients fresh, my staff to be knowledgeable, and for my fellow diners to be classy enough to not yell at my friends to get out of their way while we were waiting to be seated in the literal lobby. Food was incredible. Great flavors, sauces and seasonings. Presentation was simple - classically French. Service was good (our server was kind, however it took quite a while before we were greeted and it wasn’t clear who or when our server was and when they would be coming to our table). We were a little late for our reservation, but did call and let them know. Fantastic food, great service.
Would like my steak rare but filet is always tender. Order multiple appetizers and squash blossoms were great. Other appetizers not to my liking this time. Usually very impressed with food but went to conference and would have chose other selections.
