Took my 87 year old grandmom to the emergency room for a night, they had no warm blankets and no pillows. They rolled a little blanket up to make a pillow…..ridiculous. she was freezing, I had to bring her a blanket and pillow from home. Awful place.
Deleted my last review as my recent experience was so disappointing … I cannot begin to describe how horrible my experience at Beaufort Memorial Hospital was. I waited over five hours without being given so much as an IV, despite being in need of care. The lack of urgency and compassion was shocking. On top of the endless wait, the staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of showing basic courtesy or empathy, they acted dismissive and made the entire situation feel even worse. The place is dirty. When I was there for a family member being treated there was a moldy dirty bathroom in the wait area with no toilet paper. My family member was admitted. Upon discharge they contracted two severe infections, not related to his health problem. Took months to get well. Wouldn't recommend this place as the people working there gave him new infections to overcome. People working there need to be instructed in how to keep themselves and equipment clean.
My visit to the ER was very unprofessional. Vital signs weren’t taken & I never saw a physician. PA only talked to me gave me eye drops cause I pointed that out to her. And sat in the room 2 hours just to receive that. I was coughing, severely congested & nothing to address that.
I recently had an emergency at work and was treated with the utmost respect and care by the staff and physicians. They were all very supportive and kept me informed of the situation. I was very happy with the care I received.
