The receptionist is rude. The nurse who checked me n seemed to b more concerned about the few dog hairs n my black shirt. I met Dr o neil who was an hour late getting into the room even though there were no other patients and then after I told him that I couldn’t take the blood thinners cause it turned my stool black, he informed me that he liked giving them out because they did make people bleed. I met with Dr Stuart Smalheiser Friday November 15 and was extremely disappointed with the visit. He was very rude and I felt I was putting him out. He did not discuss the details of my EKG put simply said I have AFIB, he scheduled an ECHO and nuclear stress test and prescribed blood thinner medication all in five minutes and then left. I had to Google these items after I left because he didn’t have the courtesy to take time to discuss. I’m going to call the hospital patient advocate on Monday to ask for another doctor.
DR. STUART SMALHEISER 😡 IS A VERY BAD CARDIOLOGIST. HE IS VERY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL. HE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE PATIENTS. HE IS VERY IMPATIENT. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON DR. STUART SMALHEISER. 😡 HE IS A BAD DOCTOR. 😡
Just left this place with my husband and we DEFINITELY WONT BE BACK. The receptionists are nice but Dr. Stuart Smalheiser does not have good "bed side manner" and acts as if he doesn't have time or interest in patient questions or concerns. His tone when answering some of our serious questions was very condescending and unpleasant. Regardless if you are a specialist, you went to school for this profession and should be able to answer simple questions that could impact patients concerns.
