I have had multiple mammograms at BMH and at the Naval Hospital. While it is a much dreaded procedure I have no complaints regarding any of them; but, my recent experience was by far the most caring and compassionate I have ever received. Marsha at the front desk was kind yet professional. Ginny the mammogram tech was gentle, efficient and great at distracting me. Upon receiving news that I needed to return to repeat the mammogram. Is there anyway to make this less stressful for patience with anxiety? Last time I went they didn’t have the greatest bedside manner and I went out in tears thinking it might have been cancer when they finally told me I was fine. I nearly had a panic attack and have been afraid to come back my doctor told me I needed to.i even told them I had anxiety
