On July 10th, 2025, my husband was turned away by the triage nurse. She told my husband that a lot of people were having heart attacks and strokes that day. She also told my husband, and his sister, who had flown from Victoria on the 9th, to attend their brother's funeral, on the 10th. On the 10th of July, my younger brother and I (from Victoria) went to your emergency department to which I had explained he was a heart patient whom has a history of heart attack and had several stints put in. Was experiencing new symptoms that were systemic after being stung by a bee, historically have a moderate allergic reaction. I was reluctant to go to an ED because of the medical gaslighting and diagnostic overshadowing. But knew it was better in case it developed to anaphylaxis.
