My frail mother had been in a living hell with the sudden onset of acute pain for 5 months. Multiple hospital visits, multiple specialists and still no diagnosis. Within 10 minutes of examining her he had a hypothesis for her condition. He arranged the appropriate tests and sure enough we finally had a diagnosis. I am a physician. Dr John Beattie is a consultant physician of rare excellence. As a colleague but not someone I know personally, I have seen his work. The modern era of medicine is unlikely to produce consultant generalists of his skill. He is outstanding.
Dr Beattie is extremely thorough. He looks outside the square. He is a one in a million Doctor. Highly recommend
