The Beat Train Productions team was stellar. Julia and Jake were accommodating and communicative. They were totally cool with us talking on lighting to our contract a week before out wedding. Our DJ Joel Ortsman killed it! He was super professional leading up to the event. He provided us with a lot of helpful insights on what kind of music to go with for each part of our wedding. We were fortunate to lock down Dre for our New Haven wedding in August, and she met our expectations in every way! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. She had everything organized for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and receptions. Everything was seamless. We had a great experience working with Mariko as the DJ for our wedding last month, and wanted to write a review and overview of the experience. As part of the preparation, we filled out a thorough questionnaire about the event / musical choices and reviewed it in a zoom meeting well before the wedding. My clients used Dre for their wedding this past October in the Catskills. On top of seamlessly mixing music styles and keeping the dance floor packed all night, Dre was great to work with! She was positive, easy going and really got into the groove and connected with the guests. Highly recommended!
