The staff was amazing! I think they are a family. All of them and I do mean even the youngest boy was so nice and accommodating with everyone. It felt almost like a pop n mom shop. The staff really made the place a good experience for me. For sure going back. I love their pastry also lol
Very disappointing impression on Sunday, August 9th. I walked into Beard Papa in Sugarland and was not greeted or acknowledged by the staff. I stood there for a moment and never felt welcomed or valued as a customer. Customer service starts the moment someone walks through the door, and unfortunately, that was missing here. I ultimately decided to leave without making a purchase. Hopefully, management will address this, because a simple greeting and acknowledgment can make a significant difference in a customer’s experience.
I have visited this business multiple times in the past, but unfortunately, after my experience today, Sunday, August 9, 2026, I will not be returning. I came in with friends intending to place a fairly large order. The shop was completely empty when we arrived, yet the employee working was noticeably unfriendly and unwelcoming. The cream puffs were delicious. They were out of a few things but I can appreciate that they dont over produce so that there is wasteful food at the end of the day. Will be back forsure.
I had no idea Sugar Land had a Beard Papa's! Fabulous creme puffs for any day of the week. No excuses needed.
