I bought the cream puffs 3-4 times before and I can tell that those were fresh but the one I brought yesterday for my kids was not fresh at all because the puff didn’t taste flaky and fresh at all. I really want the quality to remain same
You know what I love? I love when I walk into a dessert spot and wait my turn, and then a family of 3 waltz in like they own the place and the dude at the desk services them after taking a nice look at the customers who were there before them. I guess the last cookies and cream puff was not in my destiny. Good stuff you guys!
The staff was amazing! I think they are a family. All of them and I do mean even the youngest boy was so nice and accommodating with everyone. It felt almost like a pop n mom shop. The staff really made the place a good experience for me. For sure going back. I love their pastry also lol
Very disappointing impression on Sunday, August 9th. I walked into Beard Papa in Sugarland and was not greeted or acknowledged by the staff. I stood there for a moment and never felt welcomed or valued as a customer. Customer service starts the moment someone walks through the door, and unfortunately, that was missing here. I ultimately decided to leave without making a purchase. Hopefully, management will address this, because a simple greeting and acknowledgment can make a significant difference in a customer’s experience.
I have visited this business multiple times in the past, but unfortunately, after my experience today, Sunday, August 9, 2026, I will not be returning. I came in with friends intending to place a fairly large order. The shop was completely empty when we arrived, yet the employee working was noticeably unfriendly and unwelcoming.
