Although Gina was initially able to get us a Surplus Line for our HOA special situation, ultimately it was a lot of follow up on my end to make it happen. We were then only giving 1 day notice when the policy expired, as we attempted to renegotiate - more follow up on our end to see this through to the finish line. We were then ghosted by GINA and were not able to renew our policy. So much time had passed, new carriers held the lapse against us. Overall, the worst service experience I have encountered to date.
Unhelpful, I went with a modern online web based insurance company that was able to provide more helpful information & resolve my needs quicker & easier.
We found out that, since the fires, it's a nightmare to get homeowners coverage, even in the most upscale neighborhoods like Talega. The big names wouldn't even give us a quote! The Bearbowers reminded me of the magic of a small family business, who's greatest asset is their reputation for service. Gina was hands on to the finish line on a very difficult case!
