Hands down the best baked goods hole in the wall joint in Ypsi. The staff are super friendly. The food is fresh, they warm it up for you and churn them out as they sell. The flavors are so unique, we enjoyed the chive butter biscuits, goat cheese galette, and the blueberry danish, and they are all a reason to go back. They said they serve focaccia sandwiches in the summer and soups in the fall and winter which I am looking forward to.
First time here! I was not greeted upon arrival, the cashier just kind of stood there and waited for me to smile first… in order for her to say anything to me (which is unfortunately a common normal for us*). Food selection was pretty small. There were no muffins :( I planned to still make a purchase anyway because I truly love supporting our local businesses, right up until the next guests came in and they were cheerfully greeted at moment’s notice! The cheddar biscuit was sooooooo good. Also really enjoyed chocolate chip cookie and the blueberry danish. Small cozy place, not much seating but easy in and out :)
Probably the highlight of the new-ish Ypsi eateries. Everything I've had here is truly great. I could do with expanded operating days/hours, but I know it's hard on the razor-thin margins they must be making.
