First time coming here and it will definitely be our last! The wait time is absolutely ridiculous 2 hr wait for shots and a health check! The vet was nice and great until it was time for shots the nurse definitely had no patience for our poor boy, she was trying to give him the mouth medicine first instead of leaving that one for last, then she felt like he wasn’t letting her administer the medicine and didn’t even ask us if we want to give it to him ! Highly recommend Bear valley Animal Hospital 💕 Staff is soo nice, Dr did so good with my Nala. She went in with a pyometra condition at 9 years old & he saved her life. I couldn’t thank this place enough, especially Angelina for guiding me thru it all. I’m so so thankful for this Hospital, if you need your little/big doggies ever checked out or immediate help don’t hesitate to take them here! 😊

Came for a second opinion and quote. My usual vet quoted me almost $900 to remove a fox tail from my dogs ear. Bear valley animal hospital did it for half the price. I could tell by her demeanor and some of the things she did (like tell me what she saw and why we would need to sedate her) that Dr. McGowan went into this business bc she genuinely cares... and not for the $. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The only positive thing I got out of this experience was the cute recovery suit for my cat. Before my cat's spay appointment, I was given the total cost of the procedure. I dropped her off that morning and approved a few additional services I had already planned for, so I was prepared for those charges. I love this vet which it's why it pains me to leave three stars and this review. I brought my elderly dog with Cushings here and they are very knowledgeable and not afraid to refer you to a specialist when needed. The problem is the wait times. I picked this hospital because unlike the one closest to me, they take appointments here. Well they're suppose to.
