Bear transmission did a grate job on my car. I have VW Passat "05 and the official dealership offered me to replace the entire transmission for almost 6K, as they thought that replacing valve body wouldn't guarantee that my transmission works properly. For 1/3 of that price bear transmission offered me to replace the valve body and fix the transmission, not only that, they gave me a year warranty on it. THANKS FOR THE QUICK AND GOOD WORK – CAME DOW TO FT LAUDERDALE FOR VECATION, CAR STARTED ACTING UP, TOOK IT TO A REPAIR SHOP, THEY TOLD ME IT WAS THE TRANSMISSION, CALLED AROUND AND SPOKE TO A FEW TRANSMSSION SHOPS, FINALLY I SPOKE WITH A MANAGER AT BEAR TRANSMISSION, THEY GAVE ME A RESNABLE PRICE AND TIME FRAME TO GET THE CAR DONE, PICK UP THE CAR COST WAS EXACTLY WHAT THEY TOLD ME, NOT A PENNY MORE, DROVE CAR BACK HOME NO PROBLEM, AND CAR IS STILL RUNNING GRAT, THANK YOU EVERYONE AT BEAR TRANSMISSION..I WOULD HIGHLY RECOME... read more

Bear Transmission/AAATrans & Engine Inc. is a Scam – Must read this before even thinking about going to have any work done or bartering with this man named ELI TAERNSTEIN! Hey preys on the weak and the hardworking people, and rips them off. He posted an add on craiglist in the bartering section looking to get work done for free and in exchange for transmission and engine work done on your car. RIPPING OFF SOUTH FLORIDA RESIDENTS – Bear worked on my transmission 3 times without fixing the problem claiming it's under warranty they will fix it which they never did. This going back and fourth lasted the duration of the 6 month warranty on the transmission. I received a message from the manager one "Allan" stating my warranty expired so he will not work fix it. Bear Transmission is a Scam – STAY AWAY FROM BEAR TRANSMISSION. I took in my car for a transmission rebuilding job, they quoted me $825 wich once they took a deposit and started working on the car became $1200, the first day i picked up my car the transmission broke down, ELI TAERSTEIN refused to pay for the tow charge to get the car back to the shop, once back at the shop they told me it will take a few days to fix it, the thiefs then cracked my radiator and screwed up my waterpump and called me claiming that the problem wa... read more
