My mother and I had a wonderful stay at the lake the cabin and lake were absolutely gorgeous and very peaceful
The place is lovely. Those who run the place are not. Yelled at my daughter. Made false accusations. Broken couch recliner. Blankets smelled unwashed. Dirty and dusty. Bird poop all over the porch. Paid way too much not to be able to enjoy and have fun. Property managers are filming you? At least that's what they told me. Creepy.They are the type to look for reasons to charge you more.
What a lovely and well maintained place. We rented Bear Lair for 4 nights and took advantage of the jonboat rental. The fishing was great and the cabin had a well stocked kitchen with a great view from the porch. Janice was an excellent host and when we had an issue with the boat motor she brought a replacement over in 20 minutes. Spent 4 beautiful days and nights at Bear Lair cabin. We relaxed and enjoyed ourselves and the beautiful scenery. The cabin was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We will definitely plan another stay.
Very nice place. Peaceful and entertaining animals amongst the woods.
