We absolutely LOVED our stay at Bear Tootin Fox’s Den ( Pigeon Forge) . We are a family of 5 with 3 children ages 15,7&2 and this cabin was perfect for us. From the moment we opened the door we knew we were going to have a great time and had picked the right place to stay. The kids went from room to room jumping up and down with excitement! Communication is good until you have an issue. We had a bat infestation directly outside the front door. We notified Bear Tootin about this and its obvious health concerns since there was bat guano and urine all over the deck. We were told they would notify the owners. We didn't hear anything else after that, nor did we get a response when we inquired. So, despite reaching out several times, nothing was done to remedy the issue. We were extremely excited based on the information provided in the description that stated “Dive right into the action at the seasonal lake where you can splash, swim, fish and play at your hearts content. Don’t forget to pack your favorite water gear tube's canoes and kayaks are a must” and photos provided that we would have an awesome lake trip, to only find out the outdoors of the home is not maintained. The cabin was amazing. The view beautiful..even had some bears visit. The road up, not so good if your a lower vehicle or dont have 4wheel drive.
Do not rent the only TenIsee cabin with the pool. The pool was so strong with chemicals and chlorine we couldn’t even be in the pool room without our eyes burning and breathing problems. They came to fix it and that’s fine but took 3 of our days there until it was ok to swim in it without issues, we left on the 5th day early morning. Asked for a credit back on our card for that inconvenience as the pool was the main reason we wanted that cabin. They said they wouldn’t refund anything as they addressed the issue.
