We've been loyal customers to Bear River insurance for 15+ years. We had a fire on our property back in July. It burnt our entire shed down and damaged quite a bit of our vinyl siding. It's been 6 weeks since we filed a claim through Bear River... And they've hardly done anything. My husband calls Bear River every single week to get updates and they never answer the phone. The ajuster, Melina Lacayo, doesnt answer her phone, texs or email, she put in my record a PIP as a fault accident when I gave her the information of the person who hit me, there is no report that it was my fault. She doesnt want to change that information, She has been very rude, mean and racist.
They gave me approximately $3,000 for a total loss, and they reported almost $10,000 payment on my record saying that the auto repair shop charged almost $6,000 for an estimate, and they don't wanna change that record. They are cheaters and dishonest, they don't answer, they just make excuses.
I was a loyal Bear River Mutual customer for nearly 20 years. During that time, I had no accidents, and no claims. Despite this spotless record, I received an email stating that an “aerial inspection” flagged my roof and my home policy would not be renewed unless actions by me were taken.
