Bear Paw Resort has officially become our favorite summer family tradition, and we just booked our 5th year in a row! Doug is an amazing host, very helpful and always available to answer questions. The staff is also fun and friendly, and Talon was a hit with the kids delivering our campfire wood every night! The modern cabins are very clean and cozy and equipped with Wi-Fi and cool A/C for relaxing after a hot day on the lake. This is a very well kept resort. It has provided our family a wonderful experience and place to make great memories, for a few years now. The owners are amazing, The environment is clean and friendly. I’m very impressed. We have been to a lot of resorts in the Park Rapids area over the years, and Bear Paw is by far our favorite!

This was our second year at Bear Paw, and it was spectacular just like last year. Our family enjoys the resort so much, it feels like home for a week except much more fun 😆 The cabins are clean and have everything you need! The lodge is great, the pizza and icecream are a family favorite. My husband spends hours playing pinball and my girls are always at the beach. Doug is such an attentive owner and really cares about his guests’ experience. We can’t wait to be back next year!

We’ve been coming to Bear Paw for a few years now with my two sisters and their families, and it’s the perfect place to reset and enjoy some time up north on the lake. We’ve stayed at a few other resorts, but the small, intimate feel, well maintained property and cabins, and Doug’s attentiveness to his guests set it apart from the larger scaled or more run down places we’ve previously visited.
