Oh my! What a beautiful little cottage! We just got married july 11th, so honeymoon in alaska! And what a beautiful little cottage we stayed in, had a little kitchen, bathroom with walk in shower. And It was only like 5min drive to seward. Drove down the road it was on and also few others and just beautiful spot and just no complaints at all! Recommend staying here!
We stayed at Bear Necessities Cottages for two nights in the Pinecone cabin. The cabin was clean and had everything you needed for a good nights stay. Since we stayed in June, it was nice to have the light blocking curtains. We were not impacted at all by the light. One night we had a fire and there was free wood on site. It was convenient to keep the fire going. The kitchen had anything you would need and there was even a note that said to reach out if we needed anything, because it was possible they had it. Love staying here whenever I travel into Seward Ak! I always booked directly with them. Booking through the 3rd parties add additional unnecessary fees so I would recommend their actual website or try to call.
The hosts were friendly, responsive, and provided great local recommendations. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful scenery and easy access to outdoor adventures, I highly recommend staying here.We can’t wait to come back!
