Depending on what time you visit (as in time of year and time of day), this picnic area can be a bit much for some. It's great to have a communal space to enjoy a day in nature. Like most public picnic areas, it's great to have a space to venture to enjoy a meal or bbq. At the exact time, when the day gets going, it can get crowded. That comes with any public park. A beautiful park marred by crowds and loud noises. At least it serves as a great community place as families get together and barbeque there.
