This park used to be a decent park. Arriving at the parking lot we wanted to quickly unload all our BBQ stuff it wasn't going to take too much time. One of the park rangers rudely told of to move out of where we were parked because we weren't supposed to be there. We didn't hesitate and we loaded back the stuff inside the trunk of our car but they were being extremely aggressive and told us to hurry! Move! Very nice state park if you want to barbecue bring your own grill. The picnic area is nice. But I took away two stars because every bathroom was Disgusting.

Depending on what time you visit (as in time of year and time of day), this picnic area can be a bit much for some. It's great to have a communal space to enjoy a day in nature. Like most public picnic areas, it's great to have a space to venture to enjoy a meal or bbq. At the exact time, when the day gets going, it can get crowded. That comes with any public park.
