I needed to have three ceiling fans I purchased installed in my condo, to replace the existing light fixtures. Alan came and installed them shortly after they arrived. One of them was defective. Alan returned and replaced the defective unit without charge, even though he did not provide the equipment. He is fast, fair, and friendly. He even waived the usual trip charge because I live close to his business. I highly recommend Alan and Bear Mountain Electric, LLC.

Called Alan after noticing water intrusion into my house main CB pnl. After initial evaluation Alan recommended replacing the panel and mitigate the water intrusion. He performed the work in the next couple days. Other contractors recommended changing the CB's only. Upon removal Alan pointed out where the panel was shorting out and melted some wires. I called multiple people regarding electrical work needing to be done by a licensed electrician in South Toe area of Yancey County. Wasn't in a big hurry. Everything from installing new lights, ceiling fan, new outlets, and a crawlspace outlet and light. Only one quickly returned call and scheduled an appointment. After buying our first house, the entire electrical situation was fubar. Alan did our inspection, gave us a fair price and did a phenomenal job. After all the work was done, he came back out to walk us through everything, helped me install our new internet and even brought us a house warming gift of farm fresh eggs and meat. If you pick anyone besides this fella, you picked the wrong one.
