Had to go late for unknown pain. They were all super nice people doing everything they could to make me as comfortable as possible. I appreciate them immensely.

This hospital is ok, however due to its annual profit loss it relies heavily on government funding and pressure on customers to encourage treatment and prescription. It's a decent hospital overall and not terrible. Bear Lake Memorial Hospital is a government-owned political subdivision of Bear Lake County, legally established under Idaho Code § 31-3601 et seq. and overseen by a county-appointed board per IC § 31-3607.

Unfortunately I had a life threatening experience in their ER due to negligence from the provider and the nurse. I reached out to the supervisor who contacted me but never followed up with me. I will say I will travel to Utah for medical care before I will go back to this place. There were no other patients in the ER during this experience it was purely negligence and incompetence and they had the nerve to bill my insurance after almost killing me.
