The most tranquil getaway at the family bear den cabin at Spure, NC location! We stayed in a creekside cabin that slept 4-6 plus our dog. We loved it. 5 stars for Cleanliness, location, accommodations, pet friendly, campsite is large, we rented a golf cart and took it on a couple trails and came across a cool, in ground balloon you can jump on, its as large as a volleyball court. Would recommend for families as well! Theres an arcade and rec center.
Campgrounds are very spacious and clean. Thank you for your hospitality, very helpful young ladies at the Front Office, ready to provide info, directions and etc. Arcade room, basketball court, golf carts, trails, overlooks. Right off Blue Ridge Parkway +++
We stayed for a week during the winter at Bear Den Campgrounds, and it was hands down an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were phenomenal—so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. They truly make sure you’re taken care of, and it never once felt like just a business transaction.
