We stayed in unit 409 at Bear Claw. It was immaculate - well-appointed and welcoming. There were just enough personal touches to feel more like a home than hotel. The staff were attentive and helpful: their recommendations were on-point! The views were spectacular! We look forward to experiencing it again during ski season! It’s ski-in ski-out from the first floor!

Let’s start with a warning: Steamboat Snowcats operate directly outside of the Bear Claw condos doing work on the Lil Rodeo Terrain park. Depending on which room you stay in, you may hear all sorts of noise and sirens throughout the night into the early morning. These Snowcats have loud sirens when they are in reverse - and they are often in reverse working on various terrain features. Bear Claw is a great option for ski-in ski-out. The condo (401) was recently updated and has three bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. It’s great for three couples or a family of 4-5. The amenities are great which include shuttle service to most places in town, boot warmer room, hot tub and bar area. It was easy to communicate with staff when needed through text. Great location!

Location, location, location! There simply isn't a better location on the mountain! Bear Claw II offers one of the 'true' ski-in, ski-out properties in Steamboat. With their heated boot room its less than 10 steps out the door and onto the snow, no hiking, no hauling gear, and no hassle. We came in for lunch each day and went out for night skiing each evening.
