Bear Claw Bakery This neighborhood bakery/coffee shop is a local favorite. The pastries/cakes along with specialty coffee drinks in the morning are just the thing to kick off the day and the lunch sandwich line begins well before noon. Everything is fresh, fresh, fresh and good.
Good Bakery My best friend lives just a couple of blocks from the Bear Claw Bakery and we always drop by to get some pastries and coffee right before we go off on our early morning fishing trips every other weekend. Their pastries are pretty good and they have a good number of selections to choose from.
Fast service Once in a while I get lazy to make my breakfast so I drop by The Bear Claw Bakery in Pinole. They are located right on San Pablo Ave and next to a parking lot. I get my usual bagel with sun dried tomatoes cream cheese and a coffee. The service is fast and friendly. They have reasonable prices and get pretty busy mid morning.
Come here for bear claws They make wonderful cheese danish from scratch and delicious bear claws, fruit danish, doughnuts and breads. They have somewhat of a huge following and appreciation from danish lovers. Bring the family, there is a great park right behind the bakery, which is located at 2340 San Pablo Avenue in old Pinole. Try it out, you'll love it. P.S. they make the best cakes in the world!
