He's the most honest mechanic. He will do anything to help you and is very reasonable!
Bought a 2004 Jeep Liberty (with 118K miles) from them for $4000. Since he was a mechanic, he said it was gone over and repaired in working order. Paid cash for it and got title in hand. Drove it for less than 3K miles and it is sitting at a mechanics shop here in Tallahassee needing a $3,500 engine and a radiator fan. So much for it being mechanically sound.
