Terrible. Deny deny deny. Poor excuse of an insurance company. Won’t even cover a root canal.
Beam doesn't say that as service isn't covered. Instead they waste hours of time of the dental providers asking for one more thing, then one more thing...currently now at 8! All of which my provider sent. They are just stalling until you give up. They have done this with both of the providers I see.
Beam is extremely misleading about what it offers. It’s not truly insurance, except for a very small number of in-network providers—which are difficult to find in the first place. On top of that, employees are expected to complete their own claims paperwork, only to have claims repeatedly denied over minor technicalities until you eventually give up. Beam Dental insurance is such a scam. This is the second time that my claims have been rejected but come to find out, everything I have had done is covered in my benefit plan. It's like their method is to reject everything and cross their fingers that people will be too lazy to review their coverage. Both my oral surgeon and dental office told me that while most insurances are difficult, Beam seems to be the worst that they've dealt with.
