Easily the best meal we had in Alaska. The salmon was perfectly cooked. The yuzu black cod and spicy cod tips were so delicious. Side vegetables (Bok Choy, ratatouille, potatoes) were delicious and a great break from the greasy pub fare we had for much of the trip.

What a great spot! Fresh local sourced food, friendly and personable service, great location! The staff were great with my 11 year old. We had poke and cod- both super fresh and delicious. We also had the foccacia , so soft and with seasoned butter and local salts! Highly recommend
An easy going restaurant with a very serious menu. When I say serious, the food is good and it is sourced locally and they let you know how this happens. There are some coastal communities in Alaska (you know who you are) where the seafood is not so good... So do yourself a favor and have some good Alaskan seafood and have a meal at the Beak.
