We came in with a setious issue. Our dogs respirations were far to high to be normal. What transpired was either Pneumonia, or Congestive heart failure. There was a discussion of euthanasia. We couldn't. The Vet, Moses Bosire and Staff were very empathic not only to our dogs need but ours as well. We want to give a huge thank you to the entire team at Beacon Emergency Hospital for taking care of our dog, Jacks, during what was an incredibly scary weekend for our family. Jacks was very sick, uncomfortable, and lethargic, and as worried pet parents, we had so many questions and fears. 1 Star Unacceptable service and complete lack of communication. We brought our dog here concerned for their health, and Beacon Pet ER kept dragging our wait out for 4 full hours—and our dog was never even seen by a doctor. What makes this worse is that I overheard the staff warning other customers about long wait times, yet they never communicated any wait estimates or updates to us. I am extremely pleased with the services received here. The doctor and staff are all very well trained, professional, but above all, kind individuals that aided us when we brought our dog into the emergency room. We unfortunately had to put our dog down, but they kept us well informed throughout the whole process beforehand and our options, and it just so had to be that this was the only way.
