I loved going to the Beacon! A bit of a drive for us, but usually see 2 or 3 shows there yearly. Last saw 1964 The Tribute there in March. Older, renovated theatre in Hopewell, Va.
Charming live entertainment venue
Nice venue. Clean, well-staffed Old Dominion Barn Dance. Audio was great, comfortable seats and nice rest rooms downstairs. They need to work on the atmosphere of the food and drink area, though. It doesn't align with the classic 1920s feeling that the rest of the theater maintains. Still 5 stars.
First time going to this very intimate, nostalgic theater. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Would definitely go again. 👍👍
