Maybe "loved it" isn't accurate. I had shoulder surgery there and that was not exactly fun. The facility was very clean and medical staff was top notch. If you have to fix your shoulder then this is a good place to go, but would have been better not to get hurt in the first place.
This is the first time I have been to a surgery center. I found the doctors and nurses to be very caring and explained what they are doing. The atmosphere is much more calming than the regular hospital atmosphere. This was definitely a positive experience.
I had a wonderful experience at Beacon Surgery Center, where I recently had surgery on my hand. To start off, the receptionist and nurses staff were all very friendly and professional. The building is beautiful and is easy to find, just off I-470. They put me at ease and made me feel like everything was going to be just fine. Amazing care and team! I truly appreciated everyone who helped make my surgery experience smooth and stress-free. From check-in to recovery, every staff member was kind, professional, and attentive. Thank you for making a nerve-wracking day feel so much easier!
The billing for my claim has been exceedingly difficult. My surgery was authorized and I paid up front a significant amount for the surgery. But then a different CPT code was used than had been approved and my insurance denied the claim. Now I am currently awaiting approval as they go back and forth and am having to pay over my deductible for other costs because this was not addressed timely. And every one in this instance says they are waiting on somebody else and meanwhile the patient gets the raw end of the deal.
