I had to move my mom out of her home in 2018. I looked at other facilities, but found their campuses too confusing for me, let alone for my mother who could no longer recognize parts of her own home. She ended up staying at BP for almost 3 years until she passed in hospice there. In that time we both had to adjust to having less contact with each other, especially during the Covid shutdown, but I was always thankful for a kind and patient staff. One of the last things Mom did was thank them for their care.
I know of people that work and worked for this community and it breaks my heart to think what I hear goes on behind closed doors is truly happening! I would look very closely before moving my loved one in to this place !
