I had an appointment with Dr. Planalp at the Fort Thomas office on March 13 after waiting nearly two months for it, having scheduled it on January 19. I was seeking a second opinion regarding my lower back condition and whether surgery might be necessary, as I had already been receiving injections. When I arrived, I was told the office could not open my MRI images. Great sports ortho practice! We saw Dr. Matik and Dr. Raines due to the availability as well as specialty (foot injury). Both doctors were friendly and answered questions we had since my daughter does competitive gymnastics. They were able to do an x-ray on site, but the mri had to be scheduled and wasnt available same day. I was still able to get within a week and then able to schedule with the doctor within a few days. I went to the office for knee pain and saw Dr Jordan Perlman who was of absolutely no help. He examined my knee which included an x-ray all to tell me “I dont know what’s wrong with your knee”. I’ve now gone to physical therapy three times and been charged 3 varying ridiculous amounts each time all while my knee pain has not gone away. I was also supposed to schedule a follow up appointment but since I’m a returning patient I can only be seen BEFORE 4pm despite my initial appointment being at 4:30.
