This is a place u go to die. This is not detox. Ur garbage to these people.
Place will destroy you. It's just a hallway with bunch of beds and like 20 TV's playing all once. There's never any quiet time and nurses treat u like garbage. They don't want to give u detox medication and Everytime u talk to them they look at u like ur some sicko because u asked them for help. There's 1 place for water and u have to go a extra floor to eat so if I detoxing and can't evene walk u won't eat. Horrible horrible place disgusting. Don't listen to th 5 star reviews. Absolutely hands down one of the absolute worst hospitals ever & when I was in the detox fl. The nurse I had told sweetie this is the bottom of the barrel for hospitals.. this was a nurse that actually helped us & didn't have an additude with us for asking them to do what's required of yhem by bej g an R.N.
First off, I just want to say I never leave reviews, but felt like I needed to write this. Genesis is an amazing detox! I was there in 2020, ended up relapsing, came back on 10/14/21 and have been going strong since then! Genesis is clean, the food is good, the staff is kind and informative, and in general this is a great detox! I now work in the addiction field and ANY detox referral I have, goes straight to Genesis. If you are coming here in hopes of finding a detox with a staff that cares about addicts, this is not the place for you. This detox facility hires people with serious moral terptitude. Do you want to risk your life in a place that is staffed by people, mainly Kerissa Tebona, who go home and live stream addictivly making fun of addicts who have passed away from addiction?
