This use to be a great GP Surgery. However, since COVID, the practice has declined, both with it ls accessibility and quality of service. No longer are you able to see, let alone speak to a GP with current concerns, and on the rare occasion you do get to see one, they are dismissive, fail to fully examine you or palm you off with excuses. Appalling service unable to get past the guard dogs get the response from them nothing to do with them. I will hear back later. Hopefully one day the guard dogs will need a vet appointment and hopefully they will be treated the same.
Excellent service – I completed an e-consult and received a quick response, with an appointment arranged with the practice nurse the same day. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, and the whole team were pleasant, responsive, and professional. Really impressed with the care provided.
I was abit apprehensive signing up with Beacon on moving to Plympton due to the 2 * reveiws but they have looked after my mum and dad very well through Dementia and Parkinsons so I registered. I have found all the staff to be very friendly and helpfull and have no complaints. It is difficult for the older generation to work the e consult but the old way of telephoning is just as easy. Sometimes abit of a wait but that is getting better. Thank you for a great service.
Just registered after moving to the area. Pleased to see how easy access is compared to my previous surgery. The e consults is open all day and doesn't get closed, and used the phone line today. Whilst 9th in the queue, I was through within a few minutes. Very polite interaction and I got the information I needed.
