Beacon House at Blowing Rock is a beautifully renovated home with a spectacular mountain view. It was a perfect home for a vacation with long-time friends. We loved the space in the open living area and had all the amenities we could want for a very relaxed visit together. We enjoyed the area too - shopping and eating in Blowing Rock, and a great day trip hiking at Grandfather Mountain then enjoying live music at Grandfather Vineyard and Winery. Beacon Hill is a true retreat. The location is perfect - neighborhood is private & quiet - but it's just a few minutes from downtown Blowing Rock and our fave hiking spot- Moses Cone. The beds are heavenly, the furniture comfy (and beautiful!), kitchen is appropriately stocked, and both the large island & dining table are designed & situated perfectly (for visiting & views).
