My mother has been a resident since October. We thought this would be a good fit for her. Boy were we wrong. She has fallen numerous times and Beachwood Commons didn’t even call us to let us know during a few of those falls. She is supposed to get 2 showers a week and many times just 1 or none at all . Her laundry is supposed to be done once a week and many times not done at all. The staff is supposed to pick her up and wheel her down for meals - every meal - every day ! This 5 * review is mainly for Shamika, the activities director, at Beachwood Commons. She is the BEST part of Beachwood Commons!!! She truly cares about the residents. She plans activities that are fun, entertaining, interactive, and appeal to many. She is a vibrant, fun, kind, caring person who calls everyone by their name.
