Beware! Beachway Therapy Center was sued for false advertisement in 2018 by the Shiner Law Firm. This place is a fraud! My cousin went to this horrific facility. Her therapist, Elizabeth McCann, should never have been allowed to earn the title "therapist." My cousin said she was late to appointments due to her pug, was a chain smoker (yes this addiction therapist flaunts HER addiction) and constantly complained about needing to prove she wasn't gay to her family. Beachway Therapy Center is NOT a luxury rehab facility! It is located on a busy highway in a terrible part of West Palm Beach. I was on the "vegetarian" meal plan. That meant only a Naked Juice for breakfast, a salad for lunch and dinner I had to fend for myself. There was no beach near the facility. I only saw the beach twice in 30 days. The beach was a 20-minute drive from the facility. There was no "horse therapy" on the rehab grounds, and the "therapy dog" only came once the entire month I was there. Beachway Therapy Center is a terrible facility! It has been sued for false advertisement. My primary therapist, Liz McCann, was awful! She cut our sessions short so she could go outside and smoke her Marlboro Gold. And this was an addiction therapist! Just terrible! Don't believe the positive reviews. Beachway has been sued for false advertisement. Look it up. It is there for all to read.
