I booked a space for the weekend of my wedding. I booked on Airbnb which I prefer because it’s hassle-free, that is until you find yourself renting from Beach view realty. The day of my wedding they called to ask me to drive in to their office to sign yet another copy of their rental agreement, which I already signed digitally and like I mentioned before I choose to rent on Airbnb specifically for their hassle-free booking and stay. These people are violating the Unruh Civil rights act with there discriminatory practices. I’m a 26 year old married man and they asked me to cancel my reservation (after I paid and it was booked) because they specifically don’t like the fact that I’m under 30. As crazy as this sounds, I have blatant proof and have reached out to my lawyer in regards to the issue. By renting one of their properties one would be contributing to an unethical and bigoted company.
I wish I could give them ZERO stars. I will NEVER book with this company again and will make sure to let everyone I know to NEVER use them either! We had booked a vacation for Spring Break and were really looking forward to our vacation. Because of the unprecedented situation with Coronavirus, we aren't able to travel to California anymore. Especially due to the fact that the entire State of California is now under a "Shelter in Place" and would not be able to go outside for reasons other than groceries or medical reasons.
