We used this place for one month. We let the guy know we weren't going to need it any longer. We were in the process of emptying our unit when him & my husband spoke, in person. He said once emptied to leave the key inside. We emptied and cleaned it out. I left the key inside. He never once said we needed to let him know the day everything was emptied.
