Rented with the agency and got an email prior to arriving saying that if you arrive early let the staff know and they will call you if your rental is clean and ready before the check in time. When we arrived ( early to avoid Friday rush hour traffic) the elderly lady at the desk acted personally offended when I told her I wanted to give my cell in case our place was open or would be soon.
