My wife and I booked a family room at Wollongong Beach Park Motel for a one night stay with our children. Upon arriving and leaving our details ant reception and getting the key we went up to the room. When we opened the door we were overwhelmed with the smell of cigarette smoke. We went inside and opened the windows and wondered whether it would dissipate and whether we could put up with it. Very run down place. Overpriced and not even a tissue box offered. No microwave either
We called up last minute and late night and they had no problem to fit us in, very clean, comfortable beds and will recommend to anyone.
It was not a great experience the rooms were tiny there was no toilet paper and there was no reception person on so if you need help you can't get it plus the beds were small and uncomfortable
