Met the New Owner! Great guy positively impacting Bend with his Coffee4Kids and now restaurant! Enjoyed patio seating while shopping farmers market! Local Kombucha, Beer & Cider on tap! Sandwiches were huge and delicious! Friendly staff!
I didn't take a great picture, well it looks great but nothing to show just how big this actually is. One portion is the size of my hand. Ok, on to my quick review of it. XL Sunrise sandwich from the beach hut deli. $22.50 for this bad boy. I could barely eat half of this sandwich and I am stuffed. This is one of my fav sandwich places to go to and it's located in Bend. They are always busy so make sure you have time to wait or order ahead. My daughter bought me my first Beach Hut Deli sandwich while I was helping her open her new store in Bend called Staghorn Mercantile at 916 Wall Street. We put in a few 12 hour days and the sandwiches we got there were very satisfying and well worth the money. My wife and I have eaten there twice while visiting Bend. I got the Philly Steak and my wife got the Hot Pastrami. The Philly Steak was a massive sandwich, so big in fact, you need to eat this with a knife and fork.
