Beach Funeral Home is holding my father’s body hostage! He passed away on February 19th, 2026. Even though there’s a life insurance policy to show them, proving we will have the funds, they refuse to cremate him in time for his funeral. Corporate policy… this is the problem; small local family owned business bought out by corporations who don’t care about anything but profits. I want to share some thoughts and feelings about Beach Funeral Home. My Mom was in assisted living with Dementia and declining mobility. I was not sure what to do next? On the recommendations of several staff members, I called Beach Funeral. I spoke to Julie then Jeff the Funeral Director, both so experienced and kind spoken. It was discussed that when time ends for Mom they would handle everything as I wished. Picked Mom up and cared for her body until next steps. In a difficult time, it's refreshing to have people like the team at Beach Funeral Homes make your loved one's final wishes "just happen." Mom had some very specific and challenging wishes for her burial. Beach Funeral Homes understood them quickly and coordinated with everyone to make it happen quickly, and at a fair price.
