I scheduled this appointment on February 25 and waited until March 2 to be seen at Beach Eye Medical Group (3300 E South St #105, Long Beach, CA 90805). I provided my insurance in advance, and they confirmed it was accepted before giving me the appointment. Today I spent about an hour traveling from Beverly Hills and another hour going back, only to be told while I was filling out paperwork that they do NOT accept my insurance after all. Horrible awful place I went here I believe last year and I had no insurance at the time and paid all my consultations out of pocket and later on they kept on harassing me that I owed money they started with $25 and then they built up to $180 I don’t have an Idea how they came up with that amount, I will consult with a lawyer and press charges at this scam place!
Only reason I gave 2 star review is because staff is nice. I had a 2:45 apt today and arrived early at 2:20. Was not seen until 4:20 by doctor. They said they have a new computer system and that was causing delay's of seeing patients. Never coming back to this business why should they make patients wait 2 hours before they are seen. Very bad management.
