Buildings are old but relatively well maintained. Area and amenities are in good shape and the view and beach access is amazing.
Fantastic location with beautiful sunset! My family and I had a fantastic and relaxing week-long stay at Beach Acres Cottages. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. We stayed in a forest cottage, which was a nice, peaceful retreat, but still gave us easy access to the beach—just a short walk away. The path down to the sand is a bit steep, so you'll want to walk with care, but it's well worth it! The cottage was cozy and comfortable. Do NOT recommend. Gross cleaning, outdated, broken door, no AC, nasty carpets, I could go on. What an ordeal it’s been here. Don’t book here if you want a nice vacation, a clean room, one that’s free from hassle, with properly working units. We bit the bullet and spent almost $700 a night to stay here, thinking that it had to be absolutely incredible. B.A.R. is an absolutely breathtaking location. The resort is SO clean, organized with a great lil outdoor restaurant with live music. Seperate building for coin laundry. Everyone was so friendly. Wonderful place to bring your family ~ kids, dogs, bikes, paddleboards. All seemed mindful that it IS a village type experience & keep "outside voices lol" at the very easy beach access. ⛱️ Thank you 😊.
