Hiking in the Pike Lake area is great. Scenery beautiful.
I love to get out into the woods with my pup and hike. This was my second time coming here for a winter hike and it was great. The trails are well marked, have some great hills and are moderately difficult. There are some great views down by the lake, and we have seen plenty of deer on both of our visits. While it is close to the highway, once you are into the woods it still feels like you are getting away from it all. I definitely recommend checking it out!
Recently hiked up Powder Hill to the tower. Great state park!
