Naturopathic and Functional medicine is a wasteland in this town. Anyone in the know understands this and it's a frustrating reality. So when Dr. Appel moved to town, I was eager to jump in and see what she was about. Some of my criticisms are echos to the 1-star review below, however, I find that MOST Naturopaths are elusive creatures when it comes to communication. Dr Appel has been so helpful at helping me work on balancing hormones. She never gave up on seeking answers for me and trialing different approaches until we found what worked for me and got me feeling better. She's always so eager and excited to hear how you've been doing at each follow up, which makes me look forward to our visits. If you want a provider who will advocate for you and be persistent in helping you feel better, then I highly recommend Dr Appel!
Dr. Appel is a great provider that uses actual data to help her clients be their best physical selves. She's one of a kind. If she wasn't so far away, I'd go to her myself.

Absolutely amazing care and results from Dr Appel. Although she isn't a primary care provider, she has dug further into my health and well-being than any doctor I have seen to date. She has been able to help with fatigue issues and digestion issues that have presented after gallbladder surgery.
