I came to Vella after experiencing knee pain around 2.5 miles into my runs. My goal was to be able to complete a 5-mile trail, and I was also dealing with tight calves. Vella focused on strengthening my glutes, calves, and feet to better support my knee and improve my running. Within 3–4 weeks, I was back on the trail running 4.5 miles, and the following week I hit 5 miles! Now I’m focused on improving my time. I’ve had a great experience and seen improvement in my body since working with my PT. I’m a runner that’s trying to improve posture and performance in the marathon distance. Andrea was quick to notice which were my weak points in my body and created a progressive plan for me to strengthen my muscles. My strength and endurance has increased in the past couple months.
