Their customer service is deplorable. I have never done business with such an ssa backwards company before! You have to call multiple times, go through an unimaginable amount of trial and error, be hung up on and given false info, before you will ever have anything done. Do yourself a favor and bank elsewhere.
Referred by my brother who has BCU through work. Problems since day one including inability to access funds for 8 days, disabling of external transfers without authorisation and overall 1 star customer service. Agents unable to help, being transferred to multiple different departments without resolution. Joined in December and will be closing account ASAP.
One of the reasons that I love Baxter credit Union is after you have your initial account, it takes less than a minute for them to open a new share (a new account). We use these additional accounts for budgeting our finances, and they've always been really easy to work with. They've won me over to credit unions.
If I could give this bank 0 stars, I would. Their staff is EXTREMELY unhelpful. I opened a new account with a new bank because of how terrible this credit union is. Every time I give them a call with any type of situation, I am always getting transferred to a different department AT LEAST 3 times because that person isn’t able to help me and then just for them to tell me that department is closed and I have to call back another day. Loved them as they’re offered throwing my job. But I missed small print of the over six withdrawals a month from Savings equals a $3.00 fee. I always keep my money on savings side because I don’t trust someone not to hack my checking side and transfer over when needed. I think the fee should be avoided. Must be a federal law or something but why the fee? I understand if I were withdrawing from ATM but im transferring. It’s hard enough to get by these days and then over a $100 a month in fees :( they made a one time exception... read more
