Dr Amy Jean was exceptional. Patient, kind, empathic, friendly, personable, and helpful. I have a great feeling about my son seeing her going forward. I went to the clinic to drop off some documents regarding my children. Since my English is limited, I was pleasantly surprised by a medical assistant who named Maria Z., noticing my difficulty communicating, quickly identified my Portuguese dialect and offered to help. Because she speaks Portuguese, Spanish, and English fluently, she guided me wonderfully, which streamlined my appointment with the doctor. She is someone who is truly dedicated to helping others.
My son has been with this group since he is 14 years old. He is a type 1 diabetic and needs insulin to live. He is now 20 years old and has been seeing his doctor every 3-6 months. I called there because he needed his insulin’s refilled be fore his next appointment and they told me they could not refill because his doctor left and he aged out at 18 years old. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dr. Amy Jean is, without a doubt, one of the best pediatric specialists we’ve seen in the last three years. Even though our appointment was virtual, she made it feel incredibly personal and engaging. She kept my grandchild interested and involved for over an hour and 15 minutes, which is truly impressive. Its incredibly difficult to contact literally anyone here! I have to jump through hoops to reach anyone. It was especially daunting for someone whos child is very newly diagnosed. The care given by first Dr.Viswanathan (absolutely LOVE her) and now being cared for by Dr.M has been good so far. But this office certainly needs to restaff with a more reliable staff.
