Very disappointed in the fees that are charged here. As a former pastor of 25 years, their exorbitant rates make counseling impossible for us “common folk”. Who can afford $170 for 50 minutes? Sadly, this makes counseling exclusively for the rich and the elite. Maybe money grows on trees????
My experience with Burnaby Counselling Group has been nothing but wonderful. From the first phone call and email from Patty, who was very helpful and took her time to understand my needs and matched me with the best practitioner based on my needs, to the psychologist we now see, Dr. Gelareh Karimiha who is such a lovely, kind, warm and genuine professional. Previously have had nothing but negative experiences at fraser health and another psychiatrist/thearapist i went to. David Lee has been phenomenal. I choose him because I go to Church and struggle with my faith and living in this world and felt he would be able to help me achieve balance and get the stuff out of the way that was inside me hindering my success in my life.
